Caridi's talent as a writer has garnered the attention of one of the most prolific book editors in the industry, Bill Thompson. Caridi and Thompson have worked together over the past few years on several of Caridi's writing projects, and the two have become fast friends. Thompson began his long and successful publishing career as a Doubleday book salesman, then quickly promoted to editor. As an editor in DoubleDay's New York City office, Thompson read through a number of submissions from a talented, yet unknown teacher in Mane, Stephen King, before accepting the one he knew could be a breakout novel, "Carrie." Later Thompson went on to accept the position as editor-in-chief of Wynwood Press, where he published the book "A Time to Kill," by a then-unknown writer named John Grisham. Bill Thompson is credited with discovering both authors.
Caridi has authored articles published in various Hurst Corp. Publications.
